08 October 2003 Status at The Aquatic Hillcrest Headline: 120 Hour Test Still In Progress At 1600 we met with the BWB and the GAF and the entire team to discuss plans for the remainder of the tests. I have recorded our agreements in the Record Run Status page regarding what test will be run when. The BWB insists that 23a is not to be started until the RES has been made functional and communicating with the Radar. Currently it is functional but not communicating with the radar. As soon as the 120 hour is complete we will repair communications with the radar and allow 23a to begin on Saturday. We also had a lively conversation about how P(d) is to be computed for the flight tests Friday and Monday. The BWB and GAF position is that the specification P(d) must be met in every individual range bin or the entire test is a failure. The LMCO position is that the average P(d) across all range bins is the criteria for pass/fail. It is a moot point if we achieve the specified P(d) in each range bin, otherwise, we will have discussions at that time to resolve the issue. At 1534 (1334 GMT) we took the second data dump of the day at the 72 hour point of the test, with all normal results. The Kor-Lite batteries were delivered this morning. EGL called about 1115 to let us know that the torque wrench is being held up in Customs with duties due. Frank Mahoney is contacting them to free it up and it will be delivered tomorrow. Herr Barz says the BWB requests that I take the Aquatic Hillcrest information off my web site, and I did so immediately. This morning we found the radar running normally and took data. We are now past the half way point of 120 hours. Punchlists:Remaining Items to Perform at Radome:
