07 October 2003 Status at The Aquatic Hillcrest

Headline: 120 hour test In Progress

Team dumped data at 1334 GMT, the 48 hour point in the 120 hour test.  No deliveries were received today.

Herr Barz arrived just before noon in the hailstorm descending on The Aquatic Hillcrest.  We had a good talk, and after lunch, Frank Mahoney faxed us his countersignature on the loan agreements letter from BWB, per Herr Barz's requests.  We then met and discussed plans for the completion of the tests.  If the 120 hour test continues to run, we have arranged to work all weekend with Olaf Bohla, who is representing the GAF, to complete tests that can be completed with the radar not running.  Then we plan to complete the final flight tests on Monday, and begin meetings Tuesday through Thursday to complete the testing and paperwork and BWB will turn the radar over to the Material Command.

We performed a dry run of a flight test with Captain Haan, which was successful.

We will dry run Friday's Flight Test this morning.  Captain Haan will communicate with the air traffic control and determine the flight we should observe.  Then we will dry run the flight test procedure.

We returned to the radome to find the radar running normally.  We took data and went up to meet with our customers in the office.  Herr Barz will arrive sometime this morning.
