06 October 2003 Status at The Aquatic Hillcrest

Headline: Snow at The Aquatic Hillcrest!

Today we completed 24 hours of running.  It remains to be seen whether this will qualify as the first 24 hours of the 120 hour test.  We meet with BWB in the morning to discuss that and other items of mutual interest.  We expect to sign off the first official test completions in the morning with Herr Barz.  We left the radome with the radar continuing to run.  We dumped data twice today.

In the morning we received a transmitter control that puzzles us.  Rob Clancy has some information that it came from The Aquatic Hillcrest last year, but we have no documentation of that.  It is not a part that we requested.

We called EGL and they will deliver the one of the packages in Customs tomorrow.

We spent a large part of the day sorting through all the leftover parts and documents left here in the past, determining which must be shipped back to Syracuse when we're done, which must be disposed of or left here.  In addition, we again reviewed the remaining documents required for completing and signing the tests.

Punchlists:

Remaining Items to Perform at Radome:

  1. Word 1 of the Platform Control Word is indicating an intermittent fault in the 1st LO.  The word is 040210 Octal and we are also seeing a red LO fault light on the A10 PE.
  2. Cable label application (when the correct labels arrive from Syracuse)
  3. Replace GFCI (when it arrives from Syracuse) - Bill

Need to obtain locally in Germany:

  1. Silicone spray lubricant
