Flew overnight via Philadelphia, and got to Frankfurt about 10 this morning.  About 90 minutes drive from the airport.  Roads well marked and no fear of getting lost.

We are staying at Gersfelder Hof in Gersfeld, Germany.  Very nice 4 star hotel with a big pool.  We ate lunch in the dining room after checking in.  Then we went for a walk around the village.  Here is some of what we saw.  It was quiet, being Sunday afternoon, all stores are closed.

This is some sort of old church with a very interesting steeple.

We had coffee at the café on the left.  An old (no, old) building on the right.  Artesian well in the middle?
